Pop sensibility meets ambient experimentation

RUNNING WITH KARMA can best be described as rock music that combines pop sensibility with ambient experimentation. This quintet plays a moody style of rock that has a poppy side to it, with many varying aural textures. Fans of such bands as COLDPLAY, THE CURE, RADIOHEAD, PINK FLOYD, & SIGUR ROS my find RUNNING WITH KARMA to be something very interesting. Richard Hernandez and Rob Charette started Running With Karma late November 2002. They set out to write music that was a little different than that of the music they went out to see in the area. After a few months, in January Carlos Machado joined them, then Anthony Cruz in late April, and to finalize in late August, Elmy Perez joined. This five-piece is one of the most versatile groups in the area.
