Out of the great city of Denver comes Rubber Planet. Rubber Planet is an all original, high energy, stripped down rock band with thick guitar and catchy melodies...'good mood' music with power.

Formed in 1998, Rubber Planet is Curtis Smith on lead vocals and bass, Brice on guitars and vocals and Craig Rusin on drums and vocals. Curtis is a graduate of the Vocal Institute of Technology in Hollywood, CA . Brice is a Baltimore, MD transplant and a long time veteran of professional East Coast original bands. Craig is an experienced drummer from Chicago.

The band is currently playing Denver area clubs in support of the new CD LoveJones 2000. All the songs were recorded in their own in-house recording studio. The trio is currently in search of professional management and booking to push their brand of radio friendly, infectious pop songs reminiscent of The Cure and in the same vein as Third Eye Blind, Eve 6, or Weezer. Rubber Planet is sure to be remembered as the band that puts the Denver music scene “on the map”.
