Rough Stock is a contemporary country showband based out of the small town of Malad City, Idaho. Managed by the capable hands of Harry Sherman, current general manager, the band has become one of the hottest performance bands in the northwest.
ROUGH STOCK has auditioned around the Idaho – Utah bi-state region and carefully selected its members from many qualified musicians. The band to date consists of 6 musicians/singers and a set up crew who together, pride themselves in being able to satisfy any audience, both young and old. On a regular basis we perform at fairs, rodeos, community functions, private functions and clubs. The band has also been privileged to open for some of Nashville’s finest to include Wade Hayes, Teri Clark, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Michael Peterson, and Steve Azar.
ROUGH STOCK was also the 2001, 1st place winner of the local and the state Country Showdown Competition, representing the states of Utah and Nevada. The Country Showdown Competition is one of America’s largest talent showcases. It is sponsored by Special Promotions Inc. of Nashville, TN. The band also serves as the back-up band for Special Promotions Inc. for parts of the Western Region.
