Florida born and Carolina raised, Rikki Dee Hall has been rockin audiences from the east coast to the west for over two decades. He has shared the stage with such musical legends as: Bad Company, Canned Heat, Savoy Brown, Lonnie Mack, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Z Z Top to name a few.
Hall formed the band in 1999, bringing together the talents of guitarist Steve Cayce, bassist Coke Fallstead, and drummer Mike Pittman. The band quickly built a name for themselves after opening shows for such artists as: Savoy Brown, Derek Trucks, Dick Dale, Tab Benoit,Leon Russell and John Mayall. Within a few weeks the band released the first cd, 'Roadhouse Rock & Blues' on their own Virgo Records.
The year 2001 found the band playing in front of even bigger crowds, both at home and abroad. On July 4th, the band drew an amazing 38,000 fans to their outdoor hometown show in Colorado Springs. Performances at such festivals as: the Colorado Rock & Blues Fest, The Pikes Peak Blues Fest, and The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally brought the band a quick notoriety as a band to watch. The year also saw the release of their latest cd, 'Been There - Done That'.
Interviewers and bookers have tried to place the band into a single category since the beginning, calling them everything from a blues band to a jam band. No matter what tag you try to place on them, one thing is sure: when you go to one of their shows you walk away sweating and drained from dancing.
