Redshift 6, one of Tufts University’s premier rock bands since its formation in 1999, has quickly emerged as a campus favorite, and is heading into Boston venues with full speed. Voted “Best Campus Band” in the Tufts Daily (2001), Redshift 6 continues to draw large crowds to its performances. With a rapidly expanding fan base, Redshift 6 never fails to please its audience, constantly creating new songs and sounds.
The band consists of Dan Aaronson (keys), Conor Sheehan (lead guitar), Keith Silliman (rhythm guitar), Todd Scalia (hand drums and lead singer), Jordan Kolasinski (bass guitar), and Brett Karley (drums).
The group dynamics among the six members of Redshift 6 make the band especially intriguing. Each member brings to the band a different background and a special sound; the combination of these sounds gives Redshift 6 its unique personality, setting it apart from the typical campus band.
