Formed in mid 2006 out of the smoldering ashes of former band purple filth, oregons premeir metal force joined together with a dream of dominating the scene and coming to rock! RADARs journey at first started out suttle occasionally playing local parties in their home town of bend oregon but mostly jamming wthi eachother at singer and rhythem guitarist ryan cutsforths house in neighboring town redmond oregon. the original lineup was ryan , of course, ted taelour (lead guitar), becca centola (bass), and david burrows (drums and guitar) . this new band immediately decided to start practicing and writing but it was early on that it was realized that some changes had to be made. david was first to go because he had many musical differences with the rest of the band and he went on to start his own indie band. his replacement was the very masterful drummer who came to be known as corey mines. having finally found the key drummer, corey was the perfect fit for radars musical mold. Becca Centola, being a very talented bassist, just wasnt feeling the metal and also realized it was time to go.next to join the band was Jordan Larrinaga on bass guitar and it finally seemed as if the lineup was finally cemented! Radar has been going strong ever since this formation and is currently working on its first album which will be titled EDIBLE SEXY!
