The Pussy Posse was formed in 2003 with the goal of rocking the socks off of local audiences. Once the socks are off, we aim for the pants. We also wanted to fight back against an anti-woman world with pro-woman rock. We are rough and tough and rock out with our cocks out. We love early ninety's RiotGrrrl in particular. We donate most of the money we make to anti-violence charities. Our first concert was a fundraiser for The Vagina Monologues.

Kirksville, MO is a small town, but it has a big heart. The Pussy Posse are four over-educated and incredibly sexy post-binary gender bots. Our drummer is Courtney, the svelte smasher, our guitarist is Eric, the honorary lady, the singer/screamer is Dana, and our hot bassist/back-up vocalist is Suzanne. We practice in Eric and Dana's tiny bedroom and hope that the police station across the street doesn't notice.

Currently, our bassist is about to move to London, and we are training a cell biologist named Kristen to play the bass and to gesticulate with an open palm one to two feet in front of her crotchal area while yelling, 'Get on yer knees, and suck my clit' (a quote from Bratmobile). We have a lot of fun. We make audiences feel happy and empowered.

Being in a band is fun. We're not especially special, but we are all trained musicians, and we love what we do. We have a love of life and a need for social justice.
