Punk-in-Head all started with 3 kids; nik mariucci, rio mariucci, and josh schuchard. nik rio and josh all played on and off for about a year back in 2001, until their first show at homecoming 2002. nik m. josh s. rodney w. and wade h. all performed with punk-in-head. wade on vox for the paranoid (megadeth version) cover and josh on vox for blitzkriege bop. Pih stayed together with rio nik and josh until summer 2003 when problems between nik and josh split their relationship and separated josh from pih. Now back in the shadows Tom H. had recieved a acoustic guitar for christmas and had been learning to play with the band then when josh had not been a part tom had bought a bass and the band was now complete. Pih played a few shows with the three piece, but soon after had felt they needed another guitarist, a fill for solos, a second melody part. This is where brett b. comes into play, brett was with the band and played a few shows for about a half a year and had called it quits in the summer of 2004, the reson behind this maddness was because the band had practices 4 times a week for countless hours and all had become so frustrated things were said and brett was out. The band continued to practice and perform live in the cities, and is contemplating whether or not to get a back up guitarist or not.

We are a punk rock band from northern MN, our band consists of Nik Mariucci(guitar/vox), Rio Mariucci(drums), and Tom Hejny(Bass). Rio- 12, loves cartoons and pickles. Rio listens to: Weird Al Yankovic, Busdriver, Nine Pound Hammer and Pennywise. Tom- 17 year old bassist, loves biking and driving fast. Tom listens to: NOFX, Nirvana, Pennywise, Dillenger Four and Greenday.Nik- 16 year old guitarist, loves to break things and sleep. Nik Listins to: NOFX, Turbonegro, Co&Ca, Nirvana, Wookiefoot and Thrice.
