Premier International started in 1979 by Don Bonner and producer John Marchalleck in Washington DC. The idea was to create and produce original music with a positive and concious vibe. 2 tracks were produced that year..Journey and Jah Man.

During the early 80s Premier International had great popularity in the region..Playing clubs like 930,Desparados,Univesities and working with major acts like Peter Tosh,Steel Pulse etc. During this period there were other original music releases. The band had several great Washington post and other regional newspaper reviews.

The band has gone throuh physical and spiritual changes.Some members moved on to solo carreers and some moved on to the higher plane(RIP)

The new millennium showcases original members Don Bonner(vocals/rhythm guits) and James Wood(lead guits) along with 4 other musicians(drums/bass/keys/percussions)still treating their audience to a Reggae experience.
