Formed in February of 1997, Pegasi51 have recorded and released three full length albums and two cd singles on their own. Since 1998 they have performed live in the southeast region of the US and created quite a buzz in every city they have played.

Pegasi51 consists of a basic four piece rock band that has created a sound that is anything but basic. The unique guitar stylings of Greg Mcguire create a perfect coloring for the pounding rythem section that consists of two brothers Kicki and Tevy Pena. To top it all off R Yarnell's moody, emotional vocals are a seemingly haunting and sometimes angry delivery of lyrics that are both sci-fi-futuristic and honestly thought provoking.

Pegasi51 has opened for such notable acts as VAST, Pressurehed, Sub Arachnoid Space, Sputnik and Lovelife. Their music can be found on many band promotional web-sites such as mp3.com, UBL, and Bandradio. Their sound is anything but run-of-the-mill rehashed rock-n-roll. Theirs is a new take on the proven aspects of originality and a new twist of sorts on all the great things that make up a true rock band.

A groove that blends the sounds of rock, post-punk, goth, new wave and something else that seems unfamiliar yet familiar at the same time.
