The three members of Passive Resistance came together in 2000 to speak out about their shared beliefs about politics, animal rights, discrimination of all kinds, and life. With the Germ on guitar and lead vocals, Ballsy Dumass on bass and vocals , and Dan on drums and vocals, they form an energetic and angry anarchist peace punk band. Their shows are always fast and full of energy. The crowd can't help but get into the music which is why Passive Resistance has aquired a faithful following of all the punx in their area.

Passive Resistance's songs are driven by politically charged, informative lyrics, with up to date facts pertaining to the subject at hand. The topics of songs range from animal liberation, to freeing political prisoners, to ending war and living through peaceful anarchy. Passive Resistance stands behind their beliefs and is always trying their best to educate people on how to take part in helping with the struggle to make their beliefs and goals realities.
