Once Tried is a four-piece original rock band from New Fairfield, CT. Originally formed in 2000, its current roster dates to 2003. Since then, Once Tried has played several gigs, but is focused primarily on songwriting and recording.

Their sound ranges from heavy and energetic to mellow and melodic. Even at its heaviest, however, the songs are laced with delicate passages and texture-rich chords.

Once Tried is currently recording, and hopes to complete their first album by the fall of 2004.
