No Diving formed in the spring of 2000. Originally consisting of Brandon Walz, Zach Bossart, Luke Derr, and Andrew Morris. Brandon played Guitar, Zach played Bass, Luke sang and Andrew played the Drums. They got off to a slow start, but after a few months they kicked Luke out of the band and got Brian Callan to do the vocals. After a few practices with Brian as the new singer they made up a couple songs and got invited to play at a party. People that saw No Diving at the party thought that they had potential and they got invited to play at more parties and various venues arund their area.

At No Diving shows you will usually find a crowd of mostly teens, since all of the members of No Diving are in high school. There aren't many Punk bands in the area of Northern Virginia that No Diving is from, so they usually play with Hardcore and Metal bands, but that doesn't stop them from gaining fans and playing shows around Northern Virginia and occasionally in Washington D.C.

No Diving's lyrics are usually catchy and funny, although they have a serious side in many of their songs.
