Murphy Blind is an alternative band with a mix of funk, digital, and a slight feel of industrial. As the lead writer of this project I try and touch as much ground musically and give each song it's own sound. We dish it out loud yet with a quiet whisper. If we make you mad with our aggression we'll be sure to apologize with a kiss.

Patrick O'Connell is the lead writer and front-man of murphyblind. Murphy Blind originally started back in 1994 with a group of friends that worked together at a Domino's pizza store in Marietta, GA. The name Murphy Blind was taken from a sports dictionary that we were browsing thru at a Hooters on cobb parkway in Smyrna, GA. Have you ever seen horses with the blinders on to keep them walking a straight line? Well... There you go...

Murphy Blind broke up some time around the summer of 1996. At that point it fizzled out and around mid 1999 I took it upon my self to restructure and start Murphy Blind back up as a solo artist. Which now leads up to the new Murphy Blind in the year 2000.

This project revolves around its following and musicians who support it for it would not be possible without them and their dedication.
