Basically we're four guys who grew up in Boston and NY, but we like to say we're from the country. Our great ambition as a band is to record bacon frying in the studio. It's never been done so in that sense I guess were kinda progressive. In addition to cooking we also play instruments and sing. I don't know how to describe our music but if you come to our shows you'll probably hear your share of songs that you'd want to sing along to if you knew the lyrics, and maybe some guitar solos. You'll probably hear a Band cover somewhere in our set, or maybe a Ry Cooder tune. You definetly won't hear any songs by Matchbox 20, The Goo Goo Dolls, Back Street Boys, Ted Nugent, or John Tesh. You also won't hear any poetry by Jewel. The secret to Mule Crossing is that half the band wants to play funk while the other half wants to play songs that you can slow dance to.
