Mind Cycle is currently in the studio recording tracks for their next album due to be released in December 2004. The band’s previous self-titled debut album was released by Mind Cycle and distributed by Sonic Wave International on December 03rd 2002, as announced online by MTV and VH-1. The CD is available at all major online retail stores such as Best Buy, Amazon.com, Wherehouse Music, Circuit City and many more. Mind Cycle’s debut album was written, recorded, produced, engineered and mixed solely by members Denny Stone and Paul Huggins in the fall of 2002. The song “Skid Soul” from this album was picked up by “Passion Pictures” for a major adult feature film “Flesh Friday”.
Mind Cycle hails from Greenville, South Carolina and was formed in the summer of 2000. The band has played many venues; large and small over the past three years up and down the East Coast. Mind Cycle consists of members: Denny Stone, Vocals; Paul Huggins, Guitar; Mike Huskey, Bass; and while the band is in the studio, guitarist Paul Huggins is again doubling as their drummer. These talented musicians each bring their own style and experience to create an unforgettable performance.
Mind Cycle's 2003 tour schedule included shows such as a performance in August at the legendary “CBGB” in NY, New York; Opening a “David Lee Roth” show at “Freedom Weekend Aloft” a Memorial Day festival in Anderson, SC that draws over 700,000 people throughout the weekend; They were one of twenty-one bands from around the country to play a CD release party for “Metal Militia” in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - 40,000 tickets were given out to this show. The band is anxious to release the next album which will differ from the first in a consistently 'heavy' manner. They are also waiting in anticipation to get back out there and play more shows starting with a CD release party in Greenville, SC in December.
