At age 23, Michael has been performing professionally for over 8 years. Throughout these years, he has performed material from his original catalogue in clubs, bars and music festivals. Michael fills out his live sound by using a Boomerang Phrase Sampler, which allows him to sample his voice and guitar for a variety of harmonization effects. In addition, he has been utilizing the Roland GR-33 Guitar Synthesizer to produce an assortment of accompaniment possibilities.
Michael’s songs are a marriage of acoustic funk, pop and rock. In addition, he also experiments with hip-hop and electronic music. Michael’s vast influences from Keller Williams to Jack Johnson can be heard in all of his original music.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Music degree in music composition from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2002. Although currently taking courses in music composition at the Conservatory of Music in the University of Cincinnati for a Masters Degree, Michael maintains a heavy touring schedule throughout the East and Midwest.
