Melissa Reaves rhythm & groove sound has been delighting audiences throughout the US & Europe for a decade. Performing at Lilith Fair & openings for Robert Plant demonstrate Melissa a vocal & guitar force to be reckoned with! Her experimental, psychedelic grooves and dynamic vocals are reminiscent of Janis, Aretha and more.

Melissa tours incessantly and performs with other area bands such as Snake Oil Medicine Show, Lazybirds, The Recipe & more. Melissa is based out of Boone, NC but finds herself on the road more often than at home.

Melissa Reaves has released five CD's: Fall From Grace(1997), Lullaby for Belle(ep-1999), Sentimental Anthem(1999), Rough Cuts(ep-2003) & Holidaze (2008). Sentimental Anthem is receiving moderate airplay throughout the US & Europe. Currently, Melissa is working on tracks for an upcoming release later in 2010.
