Matt Ballenger is an original guitarist that blends jazz fusion, hard rock, and progressive rock influences into one focused, unique and interesting instrumental voice. Don't be fooled though. This is not just music for musicians. Matt places as much emphasis on melody as technique. His goal is to create timeless instrumental music that everyone can enjoy.

BIO: Matt Ballenger's musical career began at age 4 in vacation bible school as an enthusiastic vocal performer (often without invitation!). He continued his musical journey as a sax player in the school band, although he later gave up the sax to play high school football. Matt's love affair with the guitar began in his late teen years and blossomed in college. He played with several rock groups (most recently with Monday @ Six) as his playing matured. His musical aspirations became more independent as he developed an affinity for progressive rock.
