Mars Bound Mind was formed in Winston Salem, NC in 1999. We play out frequently in the piedmont triad area of North Carolina. Our music is a combination of many different styles, as we all come from different musical backgrounds. We constantly strive to better ourselves, and project our energy in to the people who hear our music.

MBM has a mission. We want to see everyone in our crowd relating to, and grooving to something that we play. We keep our vibe extremely positive, and never allow any negative messages to find their way into our music. Life is short and we are lucky to have a chance to experience it, and we try to be a part of the experience of existence. We hope that when you come to our show or listen to our music that bad things just creep away for a while.

We can never express the thanks to our many stage guests that help express the tunes. Not a show goes by without another musician sharing his vibe. MBM is trying hard to reach everyone we can with our music. As a band we represent almost every corner of the USA. Tim comes from the Reggae/Punk/Ska roots of Southern California, while Brett heeds from upstate New York and a Rock background. Brad is a Trumpet major from Appalachian State in Boone, NC and Rob is from Indiana where he grew up with funk, R&B, and rock roots. Bird is from right here in High Point, NC with a background ranging from youth choirs to metal to funk to jazz. We got lucky to have these talents share a mission to write interesting uplifting, happy music to make everyone dance and have a good time. We hope you share in our adventure.
