Manolo Mongil is the former singer of Top Banana, one of Puerto Rico's first and most popular local band. He revives the song in his life in his new compact disc 'Esta Vez' and with his group 'Cuentas Claras'presents a selection of his most recent musical project. This production was independently produced by AGP Music. Manolo Mongil (34)- Singer, composer, arranger and mult-instrumentalist. Has worked with local and international artists such as Michael Bolton, Mary Wilson (The Supremes), Olga Taņon among others. Manolo owns a succesful recording studio, Moonhill Music in San Juan , Puerto Rico. His moving voice has been heard in numerous commercias through the USA and PR. Eddie Lozada (30) - Keyboards. He has worked over five years with local band Sol D Menta and Juan del Pueblo. Fernan Rivera (23)- Drummer and percussionist. He has performed with local artist like Luis Rojas, Grupo Mania, Juan del Pueblo. Currently studying a bachelor degree in popular music. AL Figueroa(37)- One of Puerto Rico's most outstandig guitar players, has performes with numerous local and international acts. Omar Feliciano (30)- Bass player. Worked his way on being one of Puerto Rico's most vesatile bass players.

Manolo Mongil y Cuentas Claras is very proud to include in their list of accomplishments of the last year was the invitation to do the opening act for Journey and Men at work. Manolo Mongil y Cuentas Claras acts at the moment are the spokesmen for the environmental campaign 'Yo Limpio a PR'. This campaign has the mission to educate and mobilize Puertorican community in favor of recycling and commits to the protection of the environment. Recently Manolo is recording the new album to include new songs on a more acoustic pop rock music. This album should be ready by Jan. 2002. Right now the management is studying mayor labels offers.
