The core of MP2 is prolific singer-songwriter Michael Pearsall whose deep catalog and strong, mature voice belie his youth. MP2's 'riff-heavy' (MTV Online) guitarist Evan Field comes from noted DC bands Dexter's Sandbox (Artist of the Month at On-The-I internet radio, #1 song 'True Love' at Washingtonpost.com) and Mobia's Trip (called 'a trippy, ambient grove machine' by MTV Online).

A talented vocalist in his own right, bassist Joe Wenger is a double-threat for MP2. His harmonies and melodic bass lines create a perfect compliment to Michael's voice and lend depth and sophistication to MP2's music.

Four songs from MP2's latest release, 'Overlooking Virginia,' shot to the top of Washingtonpost.com's top 50 downloads immediately upon their release. 'Better' held the #1 spot for days with 'California,' 'Our Little Secret' and 'Goodnight' joining it in the top five.
