Take the heaviness of Black Sabbath, the blues rock of Aerosmith, the driving rhythm of Metallica, the power funk of Audioslave, the punk of Nirvana, and the melody of The Beatles. Put them in a blender, and you have a MANiC aggression smoothie. A MANiC aggression smoothie or a bunch of blood, guts, and guitar strings. Either way, the combo of these bands would be the closest to describing MANiC aggression as you can get.
Armed with only their instruments and astonishing good looks, MANiC aggression is ready to rock the masses with uncompromising songs about life, love, hope, despair, and God. The fearless four were formed in 2001 by brothers David and Brian Lyda. Soon after, they recruited the low-end insanity of Jason Crapps. After vocalist David Ackerman came on board in 2003, the band played several shows at various fairs, charity events, and local radio. In early 2005, David Ackerman and the band parted ways. This left the door open for the massive vocal talent that goes by the name of Justin Kay.
With Justin on board, the band began to polish their heavy but very melodic sound. Taking rock music back to the early days, the band delivers a sonic monster with a singer that can actually sing! A trend that has almost disappeared from today’s rock scene.
Since the addition of Justin, MANiC aggression has played several shows, including: the Upper SC State Fair, local radio, and as a support act for major label recording artist Silvertide. Now with nothing to stop this groove machine, MANiC aggression is ready to rock YOU!
