Lucas Woodgeard is a 23 year old singer/songwriter from Macon, GA. Growing up in a musical family, Lucas was always exposed to music. At the age of 16, Lucas began playing guitar, and soon joined his brother’s 80’s and 90’s cover band called “echospeed”. Lucas became inspired by the catchy pop sound that eventually led him to begin writing his own music only a year later. From then on, Lucas has been busy perfecting his songwriting, singing, learning new instruments, and recording great original pop music on his digital 8-track . Lucas has over 24 recorded and copyrighted songs on cd.A few of many influences include Coldplay, Tonic, Fountains Of Wayne, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and Matchbox 20. Currently, Lucas is performing solo acoustically, however he also has a four-piece rock group. Lucas has been performing live solo, as well as with the band for over 6 years. Lucas's original songs 'Linger Here' and “Waste of Time” have been featured on Macon’s Q-106.3 and 99X in Atlanta.
