Lonos Curse is an eclectic psychadelic punk-rock outfit that can be worn on any occasion. The recordings are homefi/amateur, at best, but still capture the essence of the songs well, maybe even better than a professional could do due to the 'artificial standards of todays musical world' says frontman Jared O'Neal. 'I often find myself turning away from a lot of the music that's being thrown around the stadiums these days and I feel like an alien because everyone seems to lap it up. I can't help but think about the words of Bill Hicks when he's going off his nut about everyone just sitting there and allowing fuckers like Barry Mantilow and George Michael to flood our ears with their wimpy excuses for musical talent and overdone lyrics and messages while we murder our real rockstars or push them into isolation.It quite often feels like he was onto it and could see it happening and now its such a habit that we've all become too desensitized to see that we're being misled through one of the most powerful forms of communication we have. It's kinda shameful really...'
