Last Chance Hero formed in 2001 when an Indie Rock side project collided with an upstart pop punk trio. What resulted is an emotional twist of rock that dips into all genres of punk and rock. The listener interprets us and labels us themselves. We rock hard on stage and appeal a lot to the punk/rock kids. We come with a blend of influence ranging from NOFX to Taking Back Sunday, however our latest songs lean towards more mature riffs and emotionally inspiring lyrics.

Last Chance Hero is made up of Matt Steinpreis on Guitar and Vocals, Michael Tiede on Guitar and Vocals, Ethan Magnant on Bass, and David Payne on Drums. Our long friendship and shared intrest in musical styles have proved strong and is shown in our songs and in our stage presence.

Most recently, we have recorded our first demo with help from a local recording producer. Now we are looking to expand our reach beyond Plymouth, WI. We traveled across the state of Wisconsin in the summer of 2002 however that is the farthest we've gone. Michael Tiede, our guitarist, suffered a broken leg in a soccer game so the band took a few months off, but now we are back almost in full swing with a bunch of new music to showcase to all sorts of crowds. If you've heard us in the past, we probably have changed our style. When Michael Tiede joined the band he brought a huge Indie/Alternative rock vibe and he has stressed it in all or our latest songs.

We are booking a tour for late April as we look forward to this next year as being a huge for both us and all those we meet.
