Lamp Shade was formed in December of 2000 with originally three members. (a lead singer, lead guitarist, and a drummer) Then in April of 2001, our current bassist joined the group. The four members are the original crue. We are a close family and actually three of the four members are relatives through blood and marriage.

The band consists of Steve Dubois as the lead singer, Kenny Dubois as the lead guitarist, Brad as the bassist, and Jennifer Dubois as the drummer. Each of the members comes from various musical interestest including rock, heavy metal, alternative, punk, ect. This blend of musical interests gives us a unique sound.

What makes us unique is our live performances, stage presence and the fact that we have a female drummer. If you saw us individually you would witness a completely different personality then you would see when we get together especially on stage. The sound is hard, loud, fast, and unique. You would have to see us to believe it.
