Lame-O,formerly Scott Farkis Affair, was founded in late 1999 by Jason Hall-Bass/Vox, Adam Keeler-Guitar, and Andy Clark-Guitar/Vox.2 weeks before our first show we decided to boot our drummer, and scrambled to find a sutable replacement (Luke Wedwaldt).Ever since then we have really come into our own and have created a large, local, following due to their playing of shows ,'When ever.Where ever.As long as we get gas money!' attitude.
With only Luke haveing classical music training and the only real backgroung with a band, it lets us be free and write whatever we want. When it comes to music you can never have the ,'Oh you can't do that!' frame of mind.Like wine, music gets better with age.Lame-O is not an ordinary punk band. All 4 members have totally different influences, and that has also helped our style take shape. We don't just listen to punk.
After playing with Andy for nearly 2 years, all of us felt he wasn't feeling it as much as the rest of us, and decided to let him go in November 2001.He is greatly missed but it was better for all of us.That is when we changed our name to Lame-O.The trek for a replacement was short and we were playing shows a week later. The guy takeing over Andy's spot is Big-D, and it seems that now all of the pieces to the Lame-O puzzle are in their proper, corrusponding, position, and are ready to rock at a moments notice.
