Ken Petersen was born and raised in Brooklyn, NYC. Learning music at an early age, Ken has been playing, composing for over thirty years. In 1971 Ken joined with David Peel and the Lower East Side.

In 1972 Ken and David Peel joined John Lennon and The Plastic Ono Band for 2 years recording the album 'The Pope Smokes Dope'.

Ken plays lead guitar, acoustic guitar, base guitar, mandolin, keyboard, harmonica, and vocals.
