KAOS RISING - Chicago's Premier 'Hardcore Stomping Death Groove'! A 5 piece with influences such as Machine Head, Dying Fetus, Mudvayne, Slipknot, Soulfly etc.. Pure death vox covering pounding drums and head-splitting bass guitars alternating with tasty and complex guitar licks covering a more complex rhythm. The effect is beyond description. Kaos Rising is definitly a unique flavor of metal. Formed in the end of 1999 the band has gone through quite a bit. After playing their first couple shows they recorded a demo entitled 'Wiped Away'. 5 songs of hate, pain and rage. They continued playing shows and growing their fanbase and promoting the band and the demo. From this demo they signed with JetSpeed Records Group based in Hollywood, CA. In late july of 2001 Kaos went to LA and recorded their first full length entitled 'Welcome To The Violence' which will be available to the public at the end of February, 2002. The band has had to undergo a slight line-up change due to members pursuing other goals. The band now consists of Casey (Vocals), Bryan (Bass), Greg and Scot (Guitar) and Jason (Drums) Ambition, dedication, drive and foresight are some of the qualities possesed by the members who live to create this audible migrain. Anger motivated music. The band will begin a small 10 city tour beginning in February of 2002 to promote the new album.
