Juke was formed in '05 by Dan Emmerson (lead vox and Bass) and Nick King (drums). At the time it was called So It Goes but with a few personell changes we came to be called Juke. A couple members came and went but Josh (guitar/ vox) stayed right along with Nick and Dan. They are now a 3-man group but a hard working and determined one at that. They have a wide variety of genres, sounds, and moods and it all comes out at their live shows because they write about anything and everything that is going on in the world and in their minds, which always changes.
Danny 'D-Mo' Emmerson has recently made the switch all great musicians make when their band needs them, from guitar to bass. Nick 'The King' King plays the pots and pans. He's also recently taken up the piano which might show up on some of their studio work, but most likely not in their live shows due to the obvious lack of another band member. Josh 'Kramer' Roberts plays the guitar. All three of them have their own sounds and their own style of playing which comes out during their jam sessions (which is where most of their songs are written) and shows.
Juke recently lost Kyle Resto who played bass for the energized group. He recently found himself going off to college in Chicago. The band also recently lost a very valuable friend and proposed replacement for Kyle, George Tasseff, whose musical skills go far beyond just playing bass. Overall, however, the remaining trio stays optimistic. They have known eachother from a very young age and they work very well together. They are a well-oiled machine that shows no sign of stopping any time soon.
