Juggernaut started out as a blues rock band in 1995 as 3 of the members graduated middle school. Over the years the sound has evolved to encompass punk, ska, metal, funk, and classic rock influence.
Having always prided themselves on their live show, Juggernaut was known throughout the Atl area for giant birthday cakes, leafblower driven popcorn guns, and surprise appearances by the 'freestyle metal band--'Satan's Jesus'.
The band has retained the same drummer, guitarist, and bassist throughout the years and shuffeled through 2 sax players and a still unresolved mystery trombone player as of 10/02. College was straining the band as various members entered their freshman years at differnent times and the band took almost 2 years to basically smoke cigarettes and drink. This all came to an end as the band reunited in the fall of '01 to record their first full length album 'I don't have thoughts...Well I have some thoughts'.
Juggernaut now relies on 2 guitars, drums, bass and solo trumpet to thrash the faces off of the young delicate youth who unknowingly wander into their shows. Their sound strives to combine the energy of Less Than Jake, the soul of sublime, and the edge of Megadeth. Peace out
