Jonny Law was formed in 1999 as a guitar driven rock band that played a hard driving and tight set with some extended jams thrown into the mix. Playing bars and clubs throughout CT until eventual musical differences on the direction of the band would move them to take the year off in 2001. During that time the band members went out and tried some new things out only to reconvene in 2002 with a new vision and renewed energy. They began exploring more and taking some chances on the improv side and the results have been well received.
Jonny Law is Bill Cosentino on Guitar, Ray Ramadon on Guitar, and Rod Washburn on Bass and Vox. Currently we are working in a new drummer and percussionist, check back for details. And are in the search for a solid keyboardist.
Jonny Law has opened for Union, Mr. Big, Johnny Winter, John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, Derek Trucks, and X-2 a Govt. Mule side project. 2003 will be the year that things shift into high gear.
