Joint Compound began in the late 90's after the local industrial act Cannibal Buffet broke up. Guitarist Chad Anderson, the guy with the queenslander do, joined up with a bass player from San Diego named Dan Humphries.

Chad and Dan had been working together for a while and had a number of songs completed, but they were missing something. They needed more members....

Along came Mike Buxton, an enthusiastic drummer with a taste for pussy; and Byron Millet, a guitarist for another local electronic act who wanted to play keyboards. We love playing live more than anything else and we hate everyone.
