Jilted Romeo formed in the summer of 1997. The first song they recorded was 'Only A Game' at Pearl Studios in Jersey City, NJ in July 1997. Featured on that recording were Pete Hastings- guitar&Vocals,Jaymz Lopez- Drums, Chris Brandt on guitar,and Izzie Machado and Greg Masilang on Bass. After that first recording, Pete Hastings, Greg Masilang, and Jaymz Lopez stayed together to form what is now Jilted Romeo. The 3 originally met while working in 'The Book & Music Factory' a local music store in Jersey City.Since July of '97 the band has been rehearsing at Sundance studios in Jersey City. The band is working on matierial for their next album 'Love Just Ain't Enough' it contains the title track and other songs. Jilted Romeo also recently completed a new demo featuring 3 new songs, they are 'Come & Take It', 'One More Night', and a romantic love ballad entitled' Is She the One'.
