Jess Redmon has been entertaining audiences for over four decades with his guitar playing in the United States and abroad.In 1968, he and some friends formed the band Colorado which later became the acclaimed Alpha Centauri Band. Alpha toured extensively in the U.S. and Canada. Their self-titled debut album and TV special released in 1976. During this time, Jess auditioned in England for Rod Stewart and Deep Purple after the death of his friend Tommy Bolin. This led to joining Chad Alan, the founding member of the Canadian rock group The Guess Who. In 1985, Jess started his own recording company, Blue Zephyr Recording, where he produced and engineered over 200 album projects. In 1988, Jess won the Colorado Song Writer awards for the best rock song, entitled 'Caught in the Middle,' and best guitarist for his original composition 'Yankee Blue.' Jess has performed in concert with such act as Uriah Heap, Mountain, Johnny Winters, Rick Deringer, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Styx, Bachman Turner Overdrive, The Guess Who, The Byrds, Bad Finger and Nity Gritty Dirt Band, just to name a few. Jess' intense guitar style will take you places musically you have never been.
