The Ivory Tower Project was founded by the highly acclaimed songwriting duo of Jace & Regula in the fall of 1998. Having reinvented their style under several different former names including NorthWind and Ivory Tower, known throughout the tri-state area. I.T.P. is the final culmination of over ten years of writing and performances.
The New Ivory Tower Project showcases the talents of Mark Regula on lead vocals, keyboards and rhythm guitar, Tony Novarro(formerly of Zale) on lead & rhythm guitar and back up vocals, Ivan Elias(formerly of Scandal) on bass, Joey Bruno(formerly of Cathouse) on percussion and Richie Cannata(formerly of Billy Joel) on sax along with a host of others. This lineup of seasoned players brings their own unique style and experience to what can only be described as an overall power pop rock monster.
Hailing from New York, Jace & Regula have written enough commercial material for several cds. Having saturated the North East coast with stellar performances to rave reviews and a huge fanbase, not to mention being distributed on 5,000 units put out by W.A.P.P.s Best Bands Of New York compilation as well as commercial and non-commercial air play.
A limited edition 4 song cd of edited tracks titled 'Red Hot' from the groups upcoming debut will be available in August, 2001.
