INSEECURE
Band Biography

  • From: American Fork, UT
  • No. of Members: 3
  • Year Established: 2001

In early 1992, Leandro Fracasso moved from his native country, Brazil, to America to pursue his dream of making a living as a musician. Moving to Boston, Massachusetts, Leandro played in several successful bands and came very close to seeing his dreams become reality while fronting the popular metal band Wrath A.D. Unfortunately, due to conflicts of interest within the band, Leandro left the band to pursue other options. In 1997, Leandro decided it was time for a change and moved to Utah. A few months later, while filling in as the bassist for his girlfriend's cousin's band, he met Andy. Andy was a bassist looking for a vocalist/guitarist to front his band and 'get things rolling' so to speak. After recording a full length album, and suffering through several lineup changes, Leandro and Andy felt it was time to leave Severed Sanity and form a new band. After several months of searching for a new drummer and endless auditions and tryouts, the guys thought they would never be able to find a drummer to fit the style and sound they were trying to achieve.

The guys decided they were going to record a demo with out a drummer. Andy agreed to learn the drum lines and record the drums and bass, and Leandro would record the guitars and vocals. After a few practices, Andy decided he wanted to switch instruments and play the drums fulltime because he 'absolutely loved them.' Based on Andy's decision, Leandro placed several ads on the internet and put out the word that they were looking for a 'badass' player. Living in Utah county, Utah (also known as happy valley) did not make the task of finding a good metal bassist easy and it began to seem as if Landro and Andy were not going to find a bass player to fit the bill either. That's when they got the call from Adam. Adam had a few concerns and reservations about joining the band. He explained to Leandro that he was fired from the last band when he was in when the record company signing the band to a record deal told the singer that 'Adam had to go because he doesn't fit the image of the band.(***hint***the now signed and famous band are lumberjacks from Atlanta). Adam went on to explain to Leandro that he was an every day type of guy; short hair, big build and he did not want to waste his time to be told again that he didn't fit the image. Leandro replied saying 'I don't care of you are 100 lbs or 500 lbs, short hair, long hair or bald. If you can play a mean bass and sing some mean, low backing vocals, we want to audition you.'

After the first audition, the guys knew Adam was the right man for the job. He has the talent, chops, and experience playing live and in the studio to be the missing piece of the puzzle. As his fans put it so bluntly 'That guy is just F$%^ing awesome. He is a monster on the bass!!!'

INSEECURE is a three piece metal outfit mixing technical guitar riffs, pounding bass guitar, hard hitting drums, tribal percussion and moody, life oriented lyrics telling you to your face what you can't see around you and inside of you. INSEECURE's live show is no-holds-barred, take-no-prisoners, high energy kick in the teeth that leaves thier fans emotionally spent and begging for more. The band has recently finished recording a demo CD entitled 'Paying Time' and is currently in the studio working on their first full length album. INSEECURE continues thier sonic attack on the world, leaving the scene in a devastated war zone.
