To make a long story short Disinterment which was an old school thrash band disolved, and 2 of the founding members picked up where they left off to form IFBUTFORONE and continue the old bands music, and modernizing its sound to more of a death thrash groove sound.

IFBUTFORONE is:Mark Christensen: drummer lyrics; self taught by the major metal infuencesDavid Rummelhart: guitars, lyrics vocals; had two years of guitar and theory training, before he started writing music.

in 2004 David and Mark started to record their first album since the Disinterment EP in 1997. With more brilliant but brutal guitars and drumming they realized their falling short of their potential to play heavier, and faster.

with an almost finished EP IFBUTFORONE is now looking for other musicians to help complete the line up!
