Honeytongue was formed in summer 2002 in the gulf coast town of Port Arthur, Texas. Members include: Shelby Thibodeaux-vocals/guitar, Chris Cropper-drums, Jeff Bell-lead guitar, Jeremy McElroy-bass.

Honeytongue is currently in the studio with producer Jason Touchet recording its debut album which is expected to be released in the summer of 2005. Demos have been posted at www.myspace.com/honeytongue
