HEATSEEKER’s high-octane grade of aggro biker rock can be described as a bastardized mix of classic rock and heavy metal, fused with punk rock’s distilled ferocity to create a sound that is familiar, yet refreshingly new. Formed in the fall of 2000 by guitarist B.W., the band went through a series of revolving lineups until finally being solidified with the addition of two scene veterans, bassist E. Rab Hoover and drummer Ben Shutts. With a solid rhythm section in place, the band then enlisted the services of a fiery young lead guitar player by the name of Seth City and set about to find the perfect vocalist to complement their sound. After months of searching, they found their man in Tony LaMarca, whose powerful voice and charismatic presence blended perfectly with the Seeker’s blazing dual axe attack and took the music to a whole new level. Armed with their strongest lineup to date, the band entered Village Recorders in Liverpool, New York in June of 2003 with Peter Walker at the helm to document their infamous brand of rock n’ roll mayhem. HEATSEEKER is a band on a mission, hellbent on delivering the ultimate rock n’ roll extravaganza to every venue they darken.
