Come along as HannaH*s Field mixes blues-rock, funk, groove, and positive vibes to move your spirit. HannaH delivers a bluesy and soulful voice to her audience-one most compared to the late Janis Joplin. She jumps from pounding out rhythms on the congas to gracefuly singing her heart out. 'Most of my lyrics are about following your dreams, listening to your inner voice and truly being yourself', she said. HannaH has been nominated for Best Female Vocalist in the Hartford Advocate's 2000 and 2001 Grand Band Slam. She has sat in on vocals with many amazing bands including, Brothers Johnson, Psychedelic Breakfast, and Max Creek.
Matt Solak’s influences of Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Neil Young smoothly mix with his own style, as he turns up his guitar. He has played in venues across New England and has played on over a dozen albums. Mike Sell’s bass style is funky and eclectic. He has toured regionally and has played on 5 albums, including his own solo project, “Back to Bassics”. Bob Smigel uses his high energy drumming style and influences of John Bonham, John Molo, Matt Abts and Warren Haynes to add rhythmic pleasure.
HannaH*s Field has shared the stage with such great acts as: Gov’t Mule (featuring Warren Haynes and the late Alen Woody-Allman Brothers Band), Average White Band, Derek Trucks, Fred Norris(of the Howard Stern Show), and Percy Hill. The music of HannaH*s Field has been featured on 106.9-WCCC, 99.1-WPLR, Radio104, and RadioBoston.com.
