HAZE was formed in 1996. The band was formed in Western, NY where the members went to school. They quickly became one of the most popular college bands in the Rochester, Buffalo area, opening for national bands such as De La Soul, Shank 456 and The Lunichicks. In 1999, the band relocated to Philadelphia and has made that their permanent home base.

HAZE consists of Steve Franco on guitar and lead vocals, Ben Chandler on Bass and Vocals, Mike Reeners on drums and percussion and Scott Spaulding on Lead Guitar. Their sound has been described as 'punchy and tight' rock with a heavy groove.

With 2 full length albums under their belt, HAZE released an E.P. called 'Full Circle' on April 20, 2001. This release, which has recieved very positive reviews from media all over the east coast, was released just one month after they were featured on the 311 Tribute Album. HAZE will be playing close to 30 dates this summer, and hopes to close on a record deal by the fall.
