HAYSHAKER has been reviewed as a 'Country/Grunge experiment' and 'smart country'. Our songs have catchy poppy hooks, lots of twang and driving guitars and drums. We rock hard and fast like our Honky Tonk predecessors but we can also melt hearts with our beautiful harmonys and husband and wife duets.

HAYSHAKER was formed in the fall of 2001. Consisting of four of the five original members. The identity of our music has become so distinct and respected in the Americana circles. We have been touring and recording for seven years and have become very good at what we do.

HAYSHAKER consists of CCRider on acoustic rhythm and lead vocal, Laurie Rider on vocal, T.W. Lott on lead guitar, Dave Griffn on vocal and bass and Lee O'Neal playing the drums.

In 2007 we released our first CD 'Black Holiday in Mexico City' we worked with a small indi label out of Atlanta on a Americana Radio promotion. Our album debuted at #79 and got a name for itself quickly. We have done a few live radio broadcast since then and have performed on some very nice stages.
