Greyscale formed from the key members of several Northeastern regional touring bands. In the autumn of 2000, Greyscale released a four song EP. The songs were multi-tracked live by engineers Tom Heinisch [Prince, Donna Summer], Dave Belis [Cradle of Filth, Lost Prophets, Donna Summer], and Jon Bobo of SK Systems. Jim Sabella [Public Enemy, Nine Days, Marcy Playground] mixed the recordings at Sabella Studios in Roslyn, NY. After several years of touring the northeast Greyscale set its sites on a national audience.
Now signed to Battle Born Records the band has relocated from its of Long Island, NY to Reno, NV. Greyscale released 'Discord for the Dead Kid' on May 3rd 2005 and have been touring in support of the album ever since.
