Granthem is a Virginia-based 80's oriented band, featuring some awesome guitar rock and a female singer. We originally formed with Steve, Julia and Weasel in 1993. After a few years of jamming and searching, we picked up Casper in 1997 and things began to come together. A few months into 1998, Weasel decided to take a short break from the band. In November of 1998, we cut the first Automatic Vigilance CD in Gaston, NC. Shortly after that, we took an 11 month long hiatus. In Nov. 1999, we all got back together, Weasel, Casper, Julia and Steve and began the search for a good bass player. After the break up of his band, we asked Boyd to join and that was it. Now the match is perfect.

The Automatic Vigilance CD, with five of our songs on it, is available for sale. We will cut a new CD in September and then we're planning an 6 week east coast tour to promote it. The new CD rocks heavier and harder than the first and we are anxious to have it put together perfectly. We plan to rock the pants off of everybody in the audience...
