In the summer of 1999, the Ohio based rock band Glen was formed. First thought of as an outlet for the famed Talbott brothers to make fun of trivial topics through song, over the course of the last 3 years it has evolved into something so much more.
In Febuary 2000, Glen had its first live concert at the legendary East Palestine American Leigion. From that moment on and until the late summer of 2000, the band consisted of its founding memebers, the Talbott brothers, and new additions. Guitarist and singer Drew Wade and the synth rock band polaris, who took on a bit of a different role in Glen. Jake continued to supply the effects and what not from moogs and such, but Josh was asked to play drums. And that he did.Jake and Josh pulled themselves out of Glen in late August for various, non-personal reasons. jake had both Polaris and Galaxy Recordings to tend to, and Josh was preparing for a widely successful stint as guitarist and singer for pop/punk giants Flurry 2600. Both Grahams have moved to Florida but a return to Ohio and possibly with Glen is all but oficial. this time Josh will be handed the duties of lead guitar and Jake will hopefully add his flare.
As it stands today, Glen is 3 men. Co-founding member, Kyle Talbott plays bass. Drew Wade is still lead singer and has written practically all of Glens songs. And Jeremiah Wagner, who stepped in when Josh left in auguat 2000, is the drummer. The other founding member of the band, Kyle's younger brother Scott has taken his acts of hilarity from the stage to the crowd. He was the auxillary precussionaist, but is now coordinator of the dancing at all Glen shows.
They will be going on a bit of hiatus as Drew leaves for College in late August, but will stay alive through Kyle and Jeremiah's various side projects, including the Talbott/wagner brainchild that helped spawn Glen...The Old School punk dynasty known as The Posers.
