Ginger Goes Mad was first thought of in the summer of 2002, we in the band first played together in December 2002. Our music is probably infuenced mostly by The Doors' experimental playing style, we use an Ensoniq ASR- X (sampler/ drum-machine), a Waldorf Q (Synthesizer), a Roland MVS-1 (Sound module), Ibanez Acoustic guitar, Ibanez electric guitar, Harmonica and some kitchen tools!;)

The band consists of three completely different charackters: Anders Callenberg, the dreamer and inspirator of the band. So far he playes all the instruments, and does vocals on some songs. Has a large CD-collection with The Stone Roses, The Doors, Oasis and similar bands. Daniel Karlsson: The logical calculating element in the band. So far he only does the vocals, unless you count the webmaster title in:) Working on the guitar right now, trying really hard to master it! Listens to Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters Marilyn Manson, System of a Down, Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, VNV Nation, Covenant, The Knife.. The list could go on forever.. Mattias Magnusson: The bands own maniac! This is the guy who would do anything for some attention. right now he doesn't do that much, but he's going to play the bass when he gets the time and money to buy one! Matte listens to bands from many different genres, ie. he listens to Eminem, Muse, Goo Goo Dolls, Placebo, Red Hot Chili Peppers and tons! of others.. And of course we all listen to Ginger Goes Mad!!

At the moment we don't have a band local to play in, so we play at Anders' place. So far it's been ok, but we really need an change of enviroment to keep up the inspiration..
