GIANT STEP formed in the middle part of 2000. Best description ever given of our music is a 'melodic-pop-rock wall of sound'. All members have some sort of classical and/or jazz training, all with vocal abilities, giving GIANT STEP a unique variety of melodies and harmonies. We have a very radio friendly sound, as well as an intricate exploration into layored rhythms.

The line-up consists of; Bill Knickles on lead guitar, Russ Sundberg on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Jeff Rajchel on bass, Jeff Piecuch on keyboards and Doug Knutsen on the drums.

It seems the year 2001 will be the year of Giant Step (hopefully not just in our minds) With the press kit in the final steps and the demo CD completed there is sure to be a large amount of exposure for us in the near future.
