Galaxy Girl is a sensational gifted child prodigy. At a very tender age, she showed musical gifts. By having the gift of “Perfect Pitch”, she could naturally nominate any note without any instrument or aid by her side. Jeannette continuously participated in giving classical piano concerts since the tender age of four and composing music since the early age of five has always been a favorite. Jeannette had the good fortune to have been born in a legendary family of Classical and Jazz musicians making her fifth generation musician. She grew up attending Russian Music Conservatories all throughout her entire childhood. At age seven she also studied the guitar and sang professionally, playing the Acoustic Upright Bass and The Organ has also been among her other favorite instruments. Jeannette grew up acting and singing on Television and recorded professionally her first multi language album at age four.As Jeannette grew older she became increasingly interested in Jazz Improvisation. She attended the University of Miami School of Music and majored in Jazz Piano Performance. Here she excelled among the youth and won many awards for her outstanding academic achievements including the Golden Key for The National Honor Society. Jeannette Claudine Romeu aka Galaxy Girl has built her reputation by releasing more than thirteen full lengths albums in different music genres and in different languages. She has written music tracks for film “Hey DJ” and has participated in the make of Sonic Foundry’s ACID Loops. Jeannette has also collaborated with worldly known DJ George Acosta and accompanied Live, famous artist Buckman Turner Overdrive in Hits such as “You ain't seen nothing yet” and “Taking care of Business” . Jeannette C. Romeu works with Steinway and Sons and performs Jazz as well as Classical piano concerts.
